Squirt
Squirt was born at another horse from a rescue. We took Squirt in as he wasn't sure how to be a horse! He came here to hang out with the other babies and soon found a great home!
Luna
Luna came here as a three month old baby that was as wild as can be. She grew into a loveable mare. She has one of the best homes!
Cosmo :)
Cosmo was an auction buy. He unhandled stud that was malnourished, had a hernia, and overgrown feet. At Steel City Animal Haven, he grew to become one of the most friendly of horses. He now has found his forever home!
Jane
Jane came to us lame and unable to put weight on her back foot. Fortunately, it was just an ugly abscess in her hoof. After hoof care, we found that Jane was very well trained horse. She has now found a new home as a lesson horse where she teaches kids how to be great riders.
Sweety
Sweety was as 31 year old horse who's owners fell on hard time and was surrendered to us in November. Her previous owners found her and adopted her back in April of 2022!
Bojangles
Bojangles was a young a dog that was found wandering around at a school in January. He stayed with us until April was reunited with his family!
Lucy!
Lucy was adopted in January of 2022!
Gypsy!
Gypsy was found in November malnourished, hungry, and missing half her ear. Her owners were unable to be found. After medical care, weight gain, and some training, she found a forever home!
